Hi everyone. My name is Jerry, or as many know me, FMSJerry. I am a patient that has had fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and over 35 other diagnosis. My fibro/CFS started in 1975 after joining the USAF and getting lots of shots in boot camp. This has been proven and I get full disability from the Veterans Administration because of this. My health waxed and waned for many years. Then in 1994 I started having real medical problems. I sought out medical doctors that all told me what I had, but were unable to give me any relief from my symptoms.
I continued to get worse, then in Jan 1996 the doctors forced me to take a medical disability. I was the president and owner of a computer company and because of my illness and my inability to work our family lost everything. I eventually got social security disability insurance in December 1997. By then I was bed bound and had 24 hour care for my illness. I also was using a wheelchair because of the lack of energy. My family and I moved to the desert southwest for the climate and for a short time it helped me. Then my health continued to deteriorate, to the point where I was on 29 prescriptions and had nursing services coming six days a week.
My future was dismal at best. Then I saw an ad for a clinic that treated fibro/CFS on Facebook. The Fibro and Fatigue Centers were advertising that they could really help with the treatment of fibro/CFS. I was skeptical at best, but I contacted over 100 of their patients, at random, and not one told me that they were sorry they went to their center.
The centers used the SHINE protocol developed by Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum, MD. I went for my FREE consultation on January 4th 2011. I later found out that the staff saw me as a “train wreck” and beyond hope. But my clinic doctor felt that they could help me. I started treatment that day, beginning with blood testing where they took 26 viles of blood. They then gave me my first chelation therapy and ordered many supplements. By mid March 2011 I was back driving again and starting to really feel different. By the end of May 2011 I was off all pain meds, in fact I was down from the 29 prescriptions to less than 10. I had canceled the nursing service and no longer used my wheelchair.
I continue to use some supplements but am scheduled to only use maintenance supplements after this year. With God’s help and the SHINE protocol I HAVE MY LIFE BACK.
Dr. T and I both want to help others RECOVER FROM FIBRO and hope that “Jerry’s Corner” will do that.
Jerry
