Hi Jerry,
I suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome with adrenal exhaustion and low cortisol, my main problem is that my immune system reacts (overactive th2 arm) to many of the things I need to take for my adrenal fatigue such as vitamin b5, c, panthine, paba, b complex, nearly all the adapt genic herbs. The only thing I don’t react to is D-ribose but am unsure if this will be helpful as I am not sure if it will lower my cortisol even more or raise it back to normal levels, in turn helping my adrenals. Any advice would be most helpful?
Cheers.
ANSWER: I suffered from many allergies myself. Then a few years ago I was introduced to NAET by my chiropractor who had a new doctor in his office. I had a bad dairy allergy and could not eat anything from dairy. I went for one treatment and WOW it was gone. I went back and he treated me for all my allergies. Life has never been so good, it’s a reflex concept and does not require any blood test, needles or pain. I passed your question on to Dr. Teitelbaum and this is his reply…
When there is severe reactivity even to herbals and nutrients, I recommend desensitization with NAET (www.NAET.com ). The ribose helps the adrenals (and the rest of the system) heal, but may cause blood sugar to drop a little as it boosts metabolism. So after treatment and you are not reacting to the ribose , then it is OK to take.
